January | Styling The Tall With Lauren Crowe
The new year is the time for fresh starts and new beginnings, so we kick off 2019 with the help of three wonderful collaborators: style blogger, Lauren Crowe; interior stylist, Laura Higham and photographer Minky Luard.
This month’s Tall Selection has been styled by Travel and style blogger, Lauren Crowe. Continue reading to find out more about Lauren and how she styled the Tall Selection.
Q: Tell us a bit more about yourself and how you got started!
A: “I have my own lingerie and swim line called eLCy clothing in which I modelled for myself, I then started getting a personal following for being the face behind the brand initially. My sister is also a blogger so that helped too!”
Q: What does Creativity mean to you?
A: “Everything, i have a strong passion for everything being as beautiful as it possibly can. I am a huge perfectionist and won’t stop at something until it feels absolutely right! Whether it’s my outfit, my home, my restaurant choice, everything! It can be very annoying!”
Q: How do you express yourself throughout your home?
A: “I love to keep my home quite clean, open and simple for maximum creativity, I regularly change it up with new soft furnishings, flowers and art!”
Q: What are your thoughts on this month’s flowers?
A: “I feel like flowers are a luxury that everyone should treat themselves to, you can totally change up the feel of your home by adding a pop of colour with flowers! I love this month’s flowers, I’ve just taken away all my Christmas decorations, so to have something quite muted with longs of wintery greens suits the new minimal feel of my home!”
Q: Do you have any style or interiors tips?
A: “Don’t be afraid to try new things, shop at local markets, eBay, car-boot sales! I always look to Pinterest for inspiration”
Q: What are your goals for 2019?
A: “Be happy, and enjoy the ride and people around me!”
We’d like to say a huge thank-you to Lauren for collaborating with us this month! Don’t forget to check her out and keep up-to-date with her via Instagram and www.laurencrowe.co.uk
